Abstract metaphors of what used to be under the refracted moonlight you and me flowers for the tomb of what used to be while death sings its requiem for you and me opaque shroud covers your entirety shadows speak of what used to be refracted moonlight sets the shadows dancing the way it used to be you and me deaths cold embrace holds you in riggor now your fragile beauty carried to the grave dancing in these shadows beneath the pale moonlight your spirit still with me dancing with me tonight all lifes beauty drained from your face my rose, immortal dancing with your ghost killing all my hope.... ok a bit sappy, and well beleive it or not despite it being mushy it isnt about me or anybody i've ever known. its more of a homage toone of edgar allan poes poems, although right now i dont recall the title of it, but it should be obvious to you which one if you've read his work. |
